Pemberley Paper Matchbox Treat Holders

Made these stinkin' cute matchbook treat holders and changed them up a bit! I used them for some earrings I made instead of a treat-size bag of candy. I got the info on how to make the matchbooks from Score Pal! They have such great information and tutorials. If you haven't checked them out-you should!
Inside my handmade earrings!

Here is the inside. I used the medium sized flower from the Card Word Puzzle stamp set from CTMH to add interest on the inside. The earrings I also made and were blue/yellow which matched this Pemberley Paper perfectly. The card stock is Colonial White.

These are fast and easy!
I cut 3, 8 1/2 " x  3" pieces of Colonial White card stock. Then I scored the sheets at 1" and 5". Then simply made crisp folds with a bone folder.

Then I cut my Background & Texture paper about 1/8 of an inch smaller than each of the pieces. I used Outdoor Denim Ink for sponging all the edges on the matchbox, earring card, and the medium flowers on the inside.

I thought I was done once I stapled the inside sheet for the earrings. But I didn't like how the staple looked so I stamped 3 more medium flowers, cut them out with my paper snips and adhered them on top of the staple with sponge tape. Now I felt like they were 'done'.

I think they turned out great!

I'd love to hear from you if you like this project or if you would like more information!

Check out Close To My Heart! Right now there are some great products on While Supplies Last! Go to my site at sharon.myctmh.com for those items and the paper and stamps used in this project!

Hope today you had a chance to celebrate with paper like I did! We have only one life-might as well fill it with fun, friends and as many paper fiestas as you can!
Until next time! Blessings to you:)
