Here are my finished projects:
So pretty and feminine looking!
The same bag from farther away. I just love the flowers, leaves, and decorative elements on the Art Philosophy cartridge.
I cut the bag a bit taller so it would hold the lotion and other gifts my relative was giving her friend. I did the design on CCR with the width at 11.042 and the height at 8.583. On a 12x12 sheet of card stock you can only get 1 bag but you do have some salvage at the bottom to use for a matching card if you like.
The flowers are TAG5 on the overlay under font. I cut these at 2.514 x 2.5 and 2.25x2.25. The leaves came out BIG but in the end I liked them! These were cut at width of 1.528 x 1.5. The flourish underneath was cut at 1.875 x 3.667. I did the the bag, flower, and leaves/flourish on different documents in the CCR, NOT as layers. The bag paper and leaves were some given to me. The pink flower card stock was from CTMH. I also used some shimmer that I had over the leaves and flower edges in white. I love how this turned out and so did my cousin! Email me if you would like the CCR doc for this.
My second project was to get ready for a small gathering I'm having on Thursday with some friends to show them scrapbooking ideas. But I told them to also come and I'd teach them a card and I could practice my card teaching techniques and they would get 2 free cards! I'm excited to have them come and see the wonderful fun they can have with these projects and products! Here is the card they will be making on Thursday:
The first one is a small card but so precious! I used the acrylic stamp set A Note for You which is so cool. You can change the look and feel of the card so easily by changing the colors inside the flower. There is an outline stamp for the flower and then 3 different designs that can go inside the petals. This flower and the petals can be cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge but I just took my paper snips and cut them out. The paper is STELLA but I've seen some great cards and wall hangings using this flower in all sorts of colors! It is fabulous! Take care and if you are going to celebrate, make it a paper fiesta!
Beautiful cards, Sharon! And the bag is sooo cute! I haven't had a chance to play with the 3-d flowers yet, but it looks like lots of fun! TFS
ReplyDeleteI love the bag with the 3-D flowers! I need to try some of those soon. Tomorrow I'm making the Stella card project since I think I'll use it for my Grand Opening gathering project.
