Welcome to Sharon's Paper Fiesta and the Damask Diva's Ivy Lane blog hop! If you are coming from Kelly Janes's blog then you are in the right place! If you are starting here then make sure to go to our Damask Diva blog and see all the other creations from the start!
I started out by cutting a 5x5 card base, card front, circle and hearts all from the Art Philosophy Cartridge using CCR. Then I cut out the adorable cupid from the Artiste Cartridge. Then I sponged the sides of the card base, circle and pink heart in Smokey Plum Exclusive Ink. To put the card together, I used our Bonding Memories Glue and Foam Tape. This gave the card a bit more dimension.
Finally I place a small Sparkle Flourish just under the corner of the pink heart. I felt like the card needed a bit of sparkle. {Of course what card doesn't??}
In this photo you can see that the cupid is popped up just a bit. He's been my go-to guy lately as I've been working on several Valentine's cards. Those cards will be posted soon, so please subscribe to my blog and come back soon! Now off you go to see the next inspirational project done by none other than Michelle Southworth.

Ivy Lane
Romance is in the air with Ivy Lane! I just love the color combinations in this new paper pack: pinks, purples, greens and lots of great patterns and textures. With Valentine's day right around the corner, I designed this card using cuts from our fabulous Art Philosophy and Artiste Cartridges. I don't know what I would do without them!I started out by cutting a 5x5 card base, card front, circle and hearts all from the Art Philosophy Cartridge using CCR. Then I cut out the adorable cupid from the Artiste Cartridge. Then I sponged the sides of the card base, circle and pink heart in Smokey Plum Exclusive Ink. ReplyDeleteI love the flow of the card! From the arrow to the bling on the opposite side of Cupid! Makes it look as if the arrow pierced the heart!!
